The display is outdoors on a well-lit pathway. You can plan on walking 3/4 mile including
the walk from your car. Your time will vary depending on how long you pause to enjoy
this one-of-kind display.

We will be open, even if it rains. Tickets are available for purchase at the display entrance
on a first-come first-served basis. For more information please select your topic from the

Much of the lights display is visible from a fully accessible patio.

    The trails through the display are gravel surfaced.

    Accessible restrooms are located in the Visitor Center.

    Wheelchairs are not available at the Garden


Limited Mobility Drop Off
Limited mobility drop-off is available at the Garden entrance.
The drop-off area is well marked and well lit. Please do not pull off the road in other areas.
From I 405 take the NE 8th St exit going east. Turn right on 116th Ave NE. Go south .6 mile
to SE 1st. Turn left a the light onto SE 1st. Wind up the hill, over the tracks, and turn right
at the first light onto Main St. We're up the hill about 3 blocks on your right.

Assisted Groups
If you will be bringing senior citizens or people with limited mobility, please note the following
   The ratio of caregiver to your guests should be about 1:5 – please stay with them to

     ensure their safety.
  There are some steps, inclines, gravel and puddles.
  All visitors should dress for the weather; non-skid shoes are recommended.
  Please allow at least 45 minutes for guests to stroll the garden and soak up the beauty!
  Accessibility Guides available upon request.


Busses may drop passengers off and pick them up in the bus loading zone at the Garden entrance.
There is no bus parking.

Children 10 and under are free every night and do not need tickets.

Garden d'Lights Maps

Children, ages 1 to 95 will enjoy finding the critters made entirely of lights.
Maps are available at the entrance.

There is no scheduled entertainment during Garden d'Lights.

Lost and Found

Lost Ticket/No Printer
You can present an image of your ticket on your smart phone, or check-in at the ticket office
trailer when you arrive and we will look up your reservation.   

Garden Society members will receive one free pass for an individual membership, or four

for a family membership. We will mail admission postcard passes to current members in
November. Bring them with you for admittance to the show any night. Not a member yet?

Free Photo-Op stations are located throughout the exhibit. For professional photography
shoots, please leave a message for the Garden Office at 425-452-2750 for photography permit


Refreshments and Restaurants

Hot drinks are available for purchase.



Tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event. If we cancel, you will

be notified by e-mail message. The following options are available:


1. Use ticket any other night, without re-booking. Be sure to bring original confirmation

sheet, it is still your ticket to the event. Please check this website to be sure the event

has not been cancelled on the new date chosen to attend.

2. If unable to attend on a different night, please consider supporting Garden d’Lights by

allowing the admission fee to be a donation to the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society.
No further
action is required.

3. If the event is cancelled and customer would like a refund, customer needs to email the Bellevue
Garden Society at with “Refund Request Gd’L” in the
line. In the email, please state your name, address, phone number, the date of the show

cancelled, and the reference number provided at the time of the sale. Refund requests will be

processed at the end of the show, in January, 2015.



Restrooms are located in the Visitor Center. 



Please print and bring your online ticket for admission to the event or show your ticket on your
No tickets necessary on free nights; admission on free nights is on space-available
basis; first come, first served.

Tickets on Your Smartphone

You don't need to print your ticket if you can show it on your smartphone.

Tickets are good for the whole evening; there are no set admission times.
Last entry is at 9:00 pm.

Wait Times

While we plan carefully to make our system run smoothly, please be patient.

Allow plenty of time for parking and entering the show. Every “staff” person you meet as

you enter Garden d’Lights is a volunteer, enriching our community through their service.

The event goes on rain or shine every night including holidays. If we cancel the event due to
snow or power outage, we will post an alert on this website.

We are not able to accommodate wedding photography at this time. Please leave a message for the
Office at 425-452-2750 if you are interested in wedding photography.

If you have a Will Call ticket please pick it up at the Tickets and Information booth near the entrance.
